OK you bunch of white, right wing Tucker cucks:
1) This is only going to cause universities, which are rightly driven to maintain student bodies representative of the larger populations they serve, to change their criteria to make admittance more subjective than it has been. In other words, you little clowns who think the only thing that matters is your dorky Adderall-and-tutor-enhanced SAT score, if anything standardized scores are going to be used LESS. The little robot kids who have been trained and nurtured to be weirdo test nerds are going to WORSE off, not better.
2) University admission-as-meritocracy has ALWAYS been a mirage. Especially at elite universities, at least half of the student bodies are rich kids whose parents bought their way in, or went there themselves, or played for some corrupt ball or track coach with ties to the university, or some other non-race-based affirmative action plan for rich white kids.
There is some doofus Dad or coach reading this awful forum right now who is actively gaming the system, making a$s-kissing calls to college coaches, or figuring out how to get their white kid into rowing, or T&F, or Lacrosse, or sailing, or paying for months/years of tutoring. The rich white kids get the networking, the telephone calls made on their behalf, the extra academic support, the bribes, the sports coaching, and can always fall back on the money in Daddy's bank accounts.
The kids enjoying the most outside help, NOT making it happen based on their own efforts, are ALWAYS the rich white kids. You want to look at the affirmative action recipients, look in the mirror whitey. Want to see average masquerading as exceptional, always look first to the affluent white community.
