He beat Hoare, Mechaal and Kerr so no it was not a weak field
Mechaal is 32, Kerr is clearly not in form, and last year he was beating Jakob in Monaco and looking like he would be smashing every WR from 1500 to 5000 this season.
The best theory here is:
He is getting endurances issues. Two explanations are behind:
- He started running pro late, so he need an endurance like someone like Jakob.
- He got COVID in January.
Now if he get the endurance and it looks like he has better than your Brit (12:50 in 5000m), I dont give a single chance to your friends if he get to top endurance.
He just came in second in Diamond League a few weeks ago. What are you on
Second in a weak DL field. He's clearly going backwards. How do you come out of nowhere at age 23, run remarkable times across the board, gradually fade off during the season, and then the next are at an even lower level than you finished the previous season?
You might be right, Coevett. Or not, as on so many occasions?
Do we know anything about his training? What it looks like, who he trains with, who is coach is, who his agent is? Any associations that seem shady? Anything about his training that would be a red flag?
The issue are idiots like you who don't accept times from certain nationalities.
Xenophobic pricks.
There’s plenty of objective folks here who don’t trust times from Katir, East African distance studs, Caribbean sprinters, Norwegian mid-d stars, successful BTC runners, and even Evan Jager.
it’s obnoxious but what can we do?! Objectively watch them all until someone is busted.
The most obvious dopers of all time are bobblehead, doorbell mo, rupp, centro, FloJo, ben johnson.
Geb, Kenny B, MJ, Lewis, JJK, Aouita, Komen
This is your father. You know why? because he started from nothing (absolute zero support) ans as he said in a recent TV interview he was living under zero state of poverty.

If you back in this thread to when he was running 7:27 on a windy Gateshead track, or jogging 3:28 in Monaco, pretty sure you'll find me stating that he will either start going backwards or he will get busted.

His manager is Miguel Ángel Mostaza, who managed Gonzalez, Cacho and others, when Spain was running a 'Nike project' type system. He also managed Ethiopian-turned-Spaniard Alemayehu Bezebeh-- caught carrying around his own blood.
He also stated in an interview that athletes caught doping should always be given another chance, even if it is their 5th offence.

You mean going backwards like McSweyn? 3:29, 7:28 McSweyn can go backwards because of COVID but Katir has brown skin so according to genius Coevett he is a doper, even if he also caught COVID.

So? Kim McDonald coached your favorites Ngeny, Komen and Kiptanui. But he also coached Elliott, and managed Ovett and Walker.
