Hard to believe people are arguing there was no federal vaccine mandate.
Here's the Wikipedia summary of the federal mandate question. It's a hard question to answer because of things like the military mandate and the health care worker mandate. And that so many mandates were struck down. Were there mandates? Yes. Was everyone forced to get jabbed? No. So is that a federal mandate? Sorta.

All federal mandates were lifted when the national emergency was declared to have ended in May 2023. A small number of states have gone in the opposite direction, through executive orders or legislation designed to limit vaccination mandates.
Here's ONE way to know that it wasn't an enforced mandate for LOTS of people: LOTS of Trumpers got sick and/or died as a result of not taking the vaccine.
Right wingers will not read your post. But it is helpful to the rest of us because we lose track and forget just how much of a complete clusterfook Trump's 4 years were. Each and every day he would say sh!t and do sh!t that soiled the office that he held. And made the country look inept and foolish.
But a good portion of blame of what Trump was allowed to do to this country, his political party and the national discourse needs to go to the media. They loved the ratings so much that they normalized what Trump was doing and they loved the fact that he made ratings for them every day. In the same manner that Jerry Springer made ratings.

the media is flummoxed by Trump. Both-sidesing things is so ingrained and necessary to the US news establishment that it legit cannot figure out what to do with a shameless fantasist liar like trump who has zero shame about lying and crimes and anything bad.
The press feels it is supposed to uncover lies and crimes and then the politician disappears. That's how things have worked in the past. With Trump that doesn't work. He and his voters have no shame and love that trump just makes up a new reality untethered by reality.
So the media has settled into a 'ok if we're stuck with Trump at least we'll make more money off him because he is so entertaining.'
For-profit media has failed the US in the trump era. As have US voters for not rejecting trump for his lies and crimes against the nation.

There is no material difference in civic life between the governor of CA ordering a vaccine mandate and the president of the United States ordering a vaccine mandate.
Then why didn't CA copy the federal government's mandate?
Answer: They didn't need to give people MORE reason to move away.
The US is 50 laboratories of democracy. Not 1 centralized regime enacting its will on the people. That is the PRIMARY PURPOSE of the US constitution.

I think I hate Raskin almost as much as I hate Schiff. They are both anti-American and unpatriotic. They will go to any length to attack Trump or defend Biden even Hunter. Hunter is a horrible, horrible person and Raskin forgives him and defends him. He probably approves of the Biden's disowning little Navy.
