Ok guys based on a couple of comments, I edited the weird errors in the pacing data, and added a suggestion about the final segment potentially running HWY 95.

The erratic pacing is an obvious indication that he doesn't think rationally. I once questioned a well-known high schooler here on the board for his "crazy" pacing. Actually letsrunners are quite polite, and they just brushed me off. Fortunately I didn't pursue the subject. A little later I saw that he had won the mile in some games for the mentally impaired (not the correct term I guess).
Did not expect this. Hampton Inn apparently works wonders. After about 4 hours back at the Terre Haute Hampton Inn, RY has been right back at it clipping off about 9 miles in the past 75 minutes.
I know Joe personally and would love nothing more than to see this showdown to set the record straight. If RY accepts, I'll bring the beer.
These feel like live updates from the London Marathon or something...stretched over weeks instead of hours.

One of the charities Rob is running for, was the organizer of his previous Transcon (which he won).
I don't think Dominika is on this trip, but there is some very weird East Sheen Polish connection going on.
She was mentioned on an RY site update as DB's wife giving RY a massage(I think, can't be bothered checking).
But yeah, lots of East Sheen connections going on.

I once knew a guy who was in the army back here in the UK and his behaviour was a bit like this but not on this scale. He was really into fitness but just had absolutely no idea how to pace himself. Now this guy suffered as it turns out from a number of mental issues initally caused by an abusive step-dad which were made worse I believe by being in the army. I think Rob is crying out for help in many ways here and I hope that he will be able to get it at the end but only if he helps himself first.
The other thing that rings out here is that the guy I knew was one of the most likeable blokes you could ever hope to meet. He was renowned for stopping and chatting to anyone and anybody that would stop and listen to him.
Now that I read this, it seems like this RY guy is almost like a less talented Gerry Lindgren. Well liked guy making a sincere effort, but just full of loony ideas about his accomplishments and abilities.
