Eh, I don't get all the Mimi hate. I'm still kind of on the fence about the validity of her collected run data, but if she wants to run herself (and her knee) into the ground, that's her decision and her business. Doubtless we've all had the experience of doing a long run or race while injured or sick, when stubbornness overrode our common sense. I hope's she able to recover and finish her route to New York.

It doesn't work that way. The doctor can force her to stop for her own protection. Some serious knee damage has already been done.

I believe so. The short distance is actually less than 2400 miles San Diego, California to Jacksonville, Florida. No one seems to have ever tried that route.
