    Egg prices are way up. Not hearing much about lowering prices.

    Even Mitch McConnell doesn't think Pete Hegseth is qualified. Hard to believe.

    Tried to start a useless trade war with Colombia over military flights/shackles instead of treating deportees with a little more humanity. Sigh.

    AI companies promise more funding, Musk shrugs it off, and then China swoops in and steals their thunder by releasing a better AI model. Stocks tumble.

    Anyway, the clown show will go on...

    If more people within the LRC realm shared your level-headed perspective, this entire discussion thread could actually be a rather fascinating debate. Unfortunately, far too many of them resort to vulgar, petulant, personal attacks.

    That leaves us with lots of unfulfilled potential... you might call it the German Fernandez or Julia Stamps of LRC discussion threads.

    Had a good political discussion today with a couple of well-educated, intelligent libs. Although they didn’t agree with everything (but a lot) that Trump has done so far in his first week, they were impressed with how much he’s gotten done and the general direction the country is moving.

    Looks like Trump Is going to unite this country (at least the intelligent people).

    On the other hand, releasing the people who violently attacked police officers is inexcusable.

    I would garner anyone that assaulted police have been in prison for years. There was far more violence, destruction and crime in the summer 2020 riots, nothing. Time served, pardoned as political prisoners, equal administration of justice.
