Going by memory but the guarantee clause is there and will be enacted no matter what the psychos say. MAGA going in.
That's simply Article IV, Section 4 of The Constitution. Nothing to do with the 5th Amendment that you mentioned in your previous post. But the Guarantee Clause requires the state's governor or legislature to request federal assistance, with exceptions requiring additional conditions to be met (as outlined, for example, in the Insurrection Act of 1807).
