Earlier this morning Mimi had to take a break due to a very sore knee.

We decided we wouldn't take any risks, staked out in accordance with Guinness rules, turned her live tracker off and drove her to a nearby hospital.

The staff at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana were incredibly helpful and have arranged for Mimi to see a specialist tomorrow morning. We made the call that she should rest for today so she's had a very relaxed afternoon catching up on sleep in the RV.

We'll keep you updated with how tomorrow goes but all going well we expect Mimi will be returning back to her stake out point mid morning and back on the road towards NYC!

Somehow I picture her like the dark knight in Monty Python's Holy Grail, except instead of limbs being chopped off "It's just a flesh wound!", it'll be Mimi hobbling down the road, her entire leg swathed in 5 layers of pink kinesio tape, "it's just a scratch!".
