Republicans / Trumpers: will you post your 'maverick' beliefs?
Not a huge fan of how Trump acts but I think he's MUCH better than the alternative.
I cannot get my head around this view.
flamboyant gay people bother you, so you think trumpism is much better.
All the open corruption, lying, lack of qualifications, cooperation with russia, pardoning J6, lying, bullying, cheating, crypto scams, political violence, authoritarian instincts, undermining the constitution. the guy literally fired the inspectors general so they can't keep an eye on his corruption. the guy literally won't sign a standard ethics agreement. He's a walking crime wave.
and there will STILL be flamboyant gay people, welfare, the president can't do much about racism, etc.
I mean it's so crazy. Trump can't fix any of the things you care about, but he brings catastrophically bad statesmanship. Might as well have an honest non insurrectionist, non felon Democrat since neither will solve the problems you seem to care about.

Or an Antifa/BLM insurrection and kill a police officer and injured over 2000, along with killing over 20 people not in law enforcement?
You are a sick disturbed person, I mean no one on thread has such extreme bias. Are you on anything and if so is it available to the general public, or just you?

You need to view it more like a psychological soothing action instead of a rational logic based decision. As Trump does worse and worse things his supporters will need to excuse themselves from responsibility.
Like:
“I didn’t want to vote for Trump. It’s the people that voted against Trump. They made me do it”.

trump was president during BLM. it happened on his watch, not a Dem's.

Again, the crypto stuff / foreign business dealings isn't what I'm a big fan of at all. Biden wasn't exactly squeaky clean himself (Hunter, not Joe was far worse) but that's not that relevant.
But I hate wokeism / the preachy left above all (and want tax cuts for my family).
99% of house Democrats voted to allow men in women's sports. 99%! along with the climate fanatics who take private jets themself.
Republicans have shifted somewhat left since the 90s, mainly socially (I'm mostly libertarian - take a live and let live attitude for most things, but I still will judge) but democrats have rocketed left. Take as an example the '90s crime bill - or the crack/cocaine one in the 80s. The congressional black caucus supported both overwhelmingly. Yet now I'm supposed to believe they were 'racist'?
Or look at dc, a city near and dear to my heart. 70% of violent crime in DC is done by about 500 people. Yet criminals are the real victims and we shouldn't prosecute violent crime at all? What about the other law-abiding 670 or so thousand people? Why should they live in fear because of 500 criminals?
Or an Antifa/BLM insurrection and kill a police officer and injured over 2000, along with killing over 20 people not in law enforcement?

Agip - why do you have to edit all your posts? In the last 4 or 5 years I edited one post of mine.
Just because you don’t know the definition of “insurrection “ doesn’t mean the rest of us have to suffer from your ignorance.
protests happen in the US. It’s allowed (still) in the constitution. That’s not an insurrection. Hell, there have been anti-abortion protests for decades that have resulted in killing- we never called them insurrections. The tea party whining of 15 years ago - we never called it an insurrection.

Seriously?
As I have said before, I don't have a problem with the vast majority of the Republican policies and have voted for several of their presidential nominees over the years. I very much do have an issue with their 2024 candidate.
He is absolutely deplorable human being: antagonistic, condescending, and not nearly as intelligent (or articulate) as he believes that he is. There were several GOP candidates who were a better fit for the job.
During his first term, on at least a weekly basis I typically witnessed President Trump say something that would have embarrassed me if my 12-year-old had done it. This is coming from the leader of our country.

Lack of common sense is a largest part of the lib mental disease. They cannot even face the destructive last four years with any degree of honesty. That is the next largest part of the mentality. Lies to justify The Cause, and the mentality to ignore common sense.

Trump's recent comments about cleaning out Gaza and sending Palestinians to Jordan and Egypt now makes sense as it was probably the plan all along.
Trump appointed Steve Witkoff as his special envoy to the Middle East. Witkoff is heralded for his Sabbath meeting with Netanyahu as a Trump power play that got Netanyahu to agree to the cease fire. Horseshoe types like Greenwald and Taibbi hailed this as evidence that Trump is better at handling the Middle East than Biden because a very similar deal was on the table months ago and Biden couldn't get Netanyahu to budge, causing tens of thousands of Palestinians to die in the subsequent fighting.
But who is Witkoff and why is he the guy to get Netanyahu to cave on a peace deal, potentially risking his government? Witkoff is a big real estate developer. He and Trump go way back and are both products of the NY real estate scene. Does Witkoff have any experience in foreign policy? Nope. He worked on a phony economic recovery committee during Trump's first term. That is the extent of his experience in government.
Witkoff was appointed to fulfill a Trump wish to expel the Palestinians from Gaza and redevelop it as a high end resort community. Jared Kushner had previously alluded to the prospect of redeveloping Gaza and has had many meetings with Emiratis and other big money guys in the Middle East.
The rest of Trump's administration, (Stefanik at UN and Huckabee as ambassador to Israel) have been very hawkish on statements about the occupied territories. Stefanik said in her confirmation hearing that Israel has a biblical right to the West Bank.
The cease fire deal is structured so that Israel will get all of its hostages before having to fully pull back from Gaza. There will be some rocket attack by Hamas or a suicide bomber that will give Israel the cover to start bombing Gaza again. And this time, Israel will begin expelling people with the support of Trump.

just absurd misinformation
i don't know where to start.
Idon't have the patience to deal with people who live in alternate reality or who think the most important thing in politics is 'wokeism' and base their vote heavily on that.

You chose unwisely.
If a guy like Trump lived down the street and conducted himself like Trump, had the criminal record of Trump and spoke like Trump, every Trump voter would shield their kids and families from him.
absolute corruption. the wolves are in charge of the chickens thanks to you morans. trum,p is decimating the DOJ so it can't serve as a check against the exec branch's crimes.

False. Trump did NOT go after every single person involved and they weren't given long prison terms for their actions. When Biden took over, he went after innocent people who were just present on January 6th...and he went after them with a vengeance. How stupid are you in real life and are you celebrating your 70th birthday soon? Deflection and Bias=Agipster, the Bidenette and sissy Harris voter.
