trump admires dictators too much to attack them. And trump is too scared of them.
trump knows he can push around democracies, but he also knows he can't push around dictatorships.
He sees democracies as fundamentally weak and deserving of beta status. And this is how all dictators see democracies. They always see democracies as weak, soft , decadent and pusharoundable. Trump is just another in a long line of leaders who think that way.

Trump dropped most of the concept of ethics for incoming administration members, didn't he?
I assume he wants to be unfettered by any ethical constraints.
I assume that is also why he is the first president to refuse to disclose his financial interests or to divest himself of them to avoid the shadow of impropriety.
I tend to assume that is why he is firing all the Inspectors General--to get rid of ethical constraints, to allow corruption to run more rampant.
In Trump 1.0 he fired many department heads and installed incompetent loyalists. This accelerated after he lost the 2020 election. Smarter people than Trump realized that you can't just replace the heads of institutions. You must also replace all middle management. Middle management are the ones that might recognize corrupt and unlawful orders coming from the top. And they would not allow the employees to implement. They are loyal to the department and it's policies.
Trump is taking a wrecking ball to this class this time. Inspector Generals are supposed to be independent watchdogs for the tax payers. Trump needs those gone asap. Nobody is independent. They must all be loyal to Trump.
Frightened Employees are now buying Trump crypto and Trump campaign stuff to prove they are loyal so they will not be on the chopping block. Dictators do not need to use the military to take over. They do it this way.

Trump is not a fascist. A fascist demands ultra loyalty to the state. Trump doesn’t care about the state. You will never hear Trump demanding loyalty to the US.

Overturning Roe was what should have happened (as Ginsburg would agree) and it should be sent back to the states or illegal after 12 or so weeks (like the European laws).
Racism exists but I also think certain cultural traits cause far more harm than that or police brutality. There are certain ethnicities that perform well even though the group(s) as a whole perform relatively poorly which makes me very skeptical of the claims of systemic racism -
Affirmative action should be about class not race.
Welfare should exist but shouldn't be permanent - only for people actually down on their luck, not because of their own choices.
