It is not the "pedantic one." I am amazed how a grown adult could make that mistake. You learn that in elementary school. You are an adult and don't know the difference?

I can respect Tom Homan's practical and consistent approach to his work as the "border czar" (which, yes, Kamala Harris never actually was--let's not revive that canard). Whether I agree with all of his objectives is a separate question, but I think he's trying his best to do the job that he's been assigned, without a lot of ideological bloviating.
If the other members of President Trump's team are similarly focused mainly on the work, rather than trying to score ideological points, I think this could be a more productive four years than President Trump's first term was. We'll see.

I love it when Trumpers inadvertantly post stuff that negates their argument. This Trumper posted the link because he loves the term "border czar" but ignores the part that Harris role was not to pretend to be a southern border policewoman. It was to drill down and look at what causes people to flee their countries. The United States can do things and stop doing things that cause other countries to deteriorate causing gangs and corruption to explode and cause citizens to flee for their lives.

trump saves almost all his bullying for our allies, not hostile nations.
trump admires dictators too much to attack them. And trump is too scared of them.
trump knows he can push around democracies, but he also knows he can't push around dictatorships.
He sees democracies as fundamentally weak and deserving of beta status. And this is how all dictators see democracies. They always see democracies as weak, soft , decadent and pusharoundable. Trump is just another in a long line of leaders who think that way.

Trump dropped most of the concept of ethics for incoming administration members, didn't he?
I assume he wants to be unfettered by any ethical constraints.
I assume that is also why he is the first president to refuse to disclose his financial interests or to divest himself of them to avoid the shadow of impropriety.
I tend to assume that is why he is firing all the Inspectors General--to get rid of ethical constraints, to allow corruption to run more rampant.
