It should have been it for her days ago. In most long races there are medical professionals who will pull a runner off the course if they deem the runner is doing serious damage to themselves. Western States used to pull runners off the course if weight loss was too much, but that is not a primary criteria any longer. Mimi has lost weight, and she looks to be burning a lot of muscle. She is getting medical treatment for back issues caused by her bum knee. She is likely severely depleted in many necessary vitamins the body needs for basic functioning. It is my opinion Mimi would have been pulled of the course already.

From what I see (and I admit we have a very limited idea of what is really going on) I agree with you. I think she should call it a day and be proud of what she has accomplished.

If there are more dubious past claims, then it helps support our case by being complete and analyzing past evidence
For example, for Mimi's treadmill world record, she claims she only averaged 2 hours of sleep a night for 7 days. That I find very suspicious.

There is no suspicions about Sandra Vi. We've done our share of looking into her running history and looking at her current evidence of the transcon and it is clean. Sandra and her team passed LRC scrutiny.

Sandy has had so many boots on the ground. Most have nothing to do with LRC at all. They are just interested people who want to join her for part of the journey. There was even a guy the other day who work Levis as he ran with her. Many more people can be expected to join on as she enters the more populated areas of the country.
