My guess is southgate or Bradley or orndoff. He is my underdog.

Bump.
Anything new? Practices should be starting in two weeks. Has Wayne State hired a coach yet?
One thing that hasn't been discussed much (since this board is so male-centric) is that GVSU could actually get beat for the first time in what, 20 years? Hillsdale women have the horses to win the GLIAC. Can they actually defeat GV?
Wayne State hiring a coach is irrelevant. Komph is gone. This means WSU has one talented runner on the mens side.
Michigan Tech, Wayne State, Northwood, Lake Erie, Tiffin, and Lake Superior State will be battling out for the toliet bowl.
GVSU women are like an average of 7/10 in attractiveness. They can't lose with those stats.
What about findlay and ohio dominion? Dont count them out.

How do they still have a cross country and track program?

People like you are the reason a lot of very INTELLIGENT people avoid this message board. You just bashed half of the programs in the GLIAC. Do you feel better about yourself? Didn't think so.
The GLIAC is the best non-Division 1 conference in the US for track and cross country. There literally are NO bad overall (CC/ITF/OTF) programs. Being last in the GLIAC is like being last in your graduating class at MIT. It's not great....but you were at MIT!
First meets are one month away. Who has a bold prediction or two? (Without being an a-hole)
They also average 7/10 with 10 being mega b*tch and 1 being mother teresa.

Unaware of Walsh recruiting. Nice for them. Ashland loses Sussman, Cook, Davis, and Windle. Apparently Hall is out for the year as well.
SVSU did land a good recruiting class. That said, Eddie Komph is listed on Wayne St's roster and not SVSU's. Both schools have updated their rosters for 2015. In addition, Lucas Copi is apparently now in grad school at Wayne St and is listed on their roster. So this may possibly change some predictions.
I'll take the bait on the defenders on this one.
The guy can't coach. He's proved that over and over again. He destroyed one of the most dominate programs in the state of ohio. If you look at the runners he had on the team and the times they were running before he got there. It's mind boggling that ANYONE would continue to hire this guy. I could list the names of his athletes and the 8k times they ran before he got there to when he left it's almost pathetic.
I was looking for one of their athletes blogs about that regional race. Reneger is the sole reason those guys tanked at that race. " We were told before the race to get out with as little energy as possible and to save it for the national meet" ?!?!?!?!?!?
Why people keep hiring this guy is mind boggling.
He's a volunteer under a former Malone College grad. Which is really unfortunate considering what he did to his former college.
1. GVSU
2. Nick Halls Boo8s
3. SVSU
4. GVSU's Womens Team
5. Malone School of Wannabes
6. Another sucky GLIAC school
Where will komph be running next year????
Some research reveals that Komph IS now at SVSU, Copi IS now at WSU, and Hall MAY be redshirting. Assuming that Hall is out, these new facts affect Ashland and Ferris significantly. Revised order:
1. GVSU
2. SVSU
3. Malone
4. Hillsdale
5. Ashland
6. Ferris
7. Walsh
8. WSU
9. MTU
10. LSSU

Final prediction
Bump to keep it going
I think Michigan Tech is going to surprise some people despite losing Pengelly and Lane...they would have been national caliber with them. Take a look at their returners and with a little development they'll be a solid pack team.
Saliga-25:18, Kulas-25:46, Calvin Nitz-14:46 5K, Kampstra-15:15, Kulas-25:46, Parsell-25:41
With that group I think they could rise as high as 2nd in conference. Don't sleep on them at all!
