Did you see the results for the 20K nat'l champs? Joslyn and Cloke were both in the top 25, both ran 1:03.xx...I know Gallo is good, but could he really beat these two?
Of course, he has run under 8:00 for the 3k and 13:40's 5k. I am sure it would be a close second with Turner and any of those Cortland guys and obviously beck would be right up there too. Geneseo does not have many other recent stand outs, mostly solid performers.
Gallo has been beating up on Jeff Eggleston out in Flagstaff for a while now, and Eggs ran a 1:02 in the same race. So yeah, I think Gallo could hand it to them over 8k.

yea, I think he could beat them...
I got him confused with Chuck Terry, don't ask me how. He's still running pretty well. Wasn't he a Cortland alum?
Terry is, yes
The only thing Chuck Terry is, is Ryan "Killer" Kolb's bitch!
lol
hahaha very nice, first mention of the epic rumble in Brockport on the thread. I'm surprised it took so long.
Ok, so how about we actually talk about some meets, teams, training, or something that might actually have something to do with the season.
Meets this weekend? Lots of rain in NJ and eastern NY, and New England, not sure about western NY.
Fredonia at Penn State. Hopefully we get to see their full squad at full strength as I doubt Daniel Walker was it.
Who on here thinks Fredonia has what it takes to run comparable to SLU and Plattsburgh from this past weekend.
I bet Fredonia puts 5 guys under 27 (remember 5.2 miles) which would be like 5 under 26, and if they do this they will be the 3rd best team in the region.
Fredonia should be nationally ranked as a top 20 team! I would be surprised to see Eddie and Tom in front of Berube/ Chichester.

I'd like to see Fredonia's squad at full strength as well.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves... or just plain drunk with crazy

their gonna get pooped on. and i doubt they'll put 5 under 27:00, seeing how last year Penn State only put 3 under 27:00 and Geneseo only put 1 under.
Are you high? You cant compare Fredonia to Plattsburgh and sure as hell cant compare them to SLU. 5 guys under 27!!!? They wont even be able to do that on an 8k. Their going to have 2 guys sub 26 one guy at 2630 another at 2645 and then a 5th just about 27. Its going to take a lot more than that to be ranked top 20 in the nation. When are people going to stop sucking Fredonias dick?

The guy's obviously a troll.
I doubt anyone on the Fredonia team even thinks they can get 5 under 27 today (except maybe a misguided freshman).
I wouldn't say the blue devils aren't comparable to the cardinals, however they certainly aren't favored.
Lee Berube wins at Penn State, Chichester 3rd. Geneseo beats Penn State, narrowly loses to Michigan more to come
As I am sure both A teams ran for those division 1 squads in early September.
