He was so disappointed after the race too! Wonder what shape he’s in.

Hoare's 3:32 was a good run but had Myers as the perfect pacemaker. Myers wanted under 3:29 but hard to do with no pacemakers.
Is wild how far ahead Cam is of others now in Aus. He will be in only his 2nd major champs so let's hope he does better than Paris. I'm sure he will with that experience.
Ollie I'm impressed with for hanging with Cam the longest. He seems to be back in form. Love this.
Do we get 3 Aussies per event in CG or 2?
I actually think Jess tried to close the rail when she didn’t have room. She cut Hollingsworth off.
Cam is so strong!

Thank you!
Damn. If that solo 3:29 doesn't give a massive stiffy, I don't know what will.
Unbelievable.
Disappointed for Jess - No idea how they sort that out
Hollingsworth DQ'd
Hollingsworth tried to go inside in a non existent gap. Then she changed her line sharply to go outside - again into a non existent gap. Just before the trip she made contact (not quite a push) on Hull's back. I think the DQ was justified.
Madness that Billings, the fourth best in that race ends up the champ. Caldwell was also slowed in the jostling.
TR17.1.2[J] DQ for Claudia. Same as what Cole Hocker got in Tokyo - I guess she thought it was coming and that's why she wasn't so stoked at the finish line. Still a bad result for everyone, Hull still comes last, Billings is the national champ but it wouldn't really feel like it.
Looks like Jess goes wide around the bend, Claudia sneaks into that gap before Jess closes it down again. Unfortunate for Claudia because she this is about the only way she was losing that race
Here is video of Lachlan Kennedy's 9.96 (+0.2) which makes him first Aussie to go sub-10 wind-legal on home soil.
Kennedy broke 10. Claudia broke Jess. Cam broke 3:30. Let’s go

Sort of.
Jess did waht I think a lot of people should do but I never see done. If you have the lead, act like you are going to go wide. Start to drift out. The people behind you will get greedy and then try to take the rail. Move back down and cut them off.
The problem is I guess this strategy is dangerous.
They said it was the first matchup between Hollingsworth and Hull.
Does the timing site have official splits? I can't believe no one is talking about how fast the last lap was. I had Claudia in 56.8.
Is that the fastest last lap in the history of the world for a women's 1500? I started a thread on that question here:
I find it bizarre that AA have made zero mention of the Women’s 1500m on social media channels as if the event never occurred
Is there a clip of what happened in the women's 1500 anywhere?

It all played out nicely for MTC $$
