Strange, but WA still doesn't have the South Africa splits up. All others, yes.

Wish Bol v Syd was closer. Would have been interesting.
I agree - it would have been interesting to see how many seconds faster Syd is than Bol. 2? Maybe 3?
Irby-Jackson’s split won them the gold.
Right now fastest split is Tebogo at 44.05

No it wouldn't have, Syd is a stratosphere ahead of her

Think they would’ve been fine regardless

Congratulations Cole! I am another one who didn't see this coming, especially under 13.
I miss the world feed because there's such an annoying amount of glazing from ato. Also with not mentioning Chebet when mentioning the women who had the best championships.
Quite a lame lap again from Bol, 49.10. Probably for the best it wasn't close, would be a little embarrassing to see SML running away from her.
We need an atom bomb to cap it off
Not while passing 11 people they didn’t

Van Niekerk brought South Africa back in the race with his 3rd leg. Awesome to see.
Lol.......
He doesn't seem to me like a guy one would root against, but hey, it's your call.
Why won’t the Decathlon die?! Terrible way to end a meet.
According to the WA feed, the US had the fastest split on all four legs of the Women's 4x400

Has Botswana's 4x400 leadoff man made a statement about Ann Landers yet?

52.6 in a 12:58 race. I don’t even prime Jakob can do that.
Bekele and Lagat have.

Yeah, they would have won either way, but LIJ’s leg gave them a nice lead. She also had an excellent leg in the mixed 4x4.

I actually enjoy seeing the end of these. Everyone running to exhaustion and collapsing over the finish line, and then dapping each other to after doing battle over 10 events. I wish they could find a better way to package the coverage though without having to watch hours and hours of coverage. We could use a nice 5 minute recap before the final that goes through event by event recap.
Letsrun interviewing Grant on YouTube. He's classy in defeat.
