There is no way they can put this girls name on Presidential ballots. There absolutely must be another move coming. She’s the worst polling candidate in the History of politics, you will need to steal too many votes to make this happen. this is a part time move to buy time

That being said, perhaps she was polling hard before but in my extended circle, she's the talk of the town. People are excited in a way I didn't see them with Biden. People are creating content about her all over social media, at 'water fountain' conversations. Hell, at my dinner last night, the topic of Harris took up about half of our 3 hour meal.
People are energized once again. I'd be curious to see polling numbers in a few weeks.

I think the point is that vance was hired for who he is, not what he's done.
vance is obviously completely unqualified to be president. wrote a book and has been senator for a year. But he got the veep job because of his identity. To firm up the white blue collar vote.
and that's exactly the complaint against DEI - that it lets unqualified people get jobs because of their identities.
that's why calling vance a DEI hire is fair. Vance is in no way the best man to be veep, let alone president. he's not even qualified, let alone on top of the heap.

Yep, people are starting to realize just how in the dumps they've all been about the 2 old guys.
The right wing ecosystem is trying to "swift Boat" Harris. They are sending up many trial balloons to see if any take. (Harris is immoral, DEI hire, Cacky laugh, Not really black, Too black, llegal to add to the ballot, birtherism 2.0)
They will know which one takes because the MSM will start running with it. For example, NY Times might do a 3 part series about DEI in America. Once they see which one flies then they will flood the zone with that one.
