Funny you appear to blithely count yourself amongst the psychologically stable.
I have no interest in manipulating you or anyone else and I never talk about myself, so you appear to need some English language tutoring on the meaning of those words.

Yet another example of how this cult group considers reproduction as the sole reason for human existence.
JAHJ, even after all this time, I still can't figure out if you're just being disingenuous or you really don't see and understand the stark, clear, and extremely important difference between descriptive statements and prescriptive ones.
Since you seem reasonably intelligent and educated, I find it hard to believe you've gone your whole life not learning to distinguish between "is" statments and "ought" [to be] statements.
Stating the empirical fact that humans are one of the many animals species on planet Earth which reproduce sexually, and only sexually - and that humans reproduce sexually in an anisogamous manner that always involves egg+sperm - is not the same as saying that "reproduction [is] the sole reason for human existence." It's not anywhere close.
Just as stating the empirical fact that owls are noctural is not the same as, or close to, claiming that being awake at night is the sole reason for owls' existence. Or a reason for owls' existence at all.
Pointing out that grizzly bears and Alaskan brown bears hibernate for long periods during the winter months is nothing like claiming that hibernating is the sole reason, or one of many possible reasons, for the existence of those kinds of bears.
BTW, I personally have no idea what the "sole reason for human existence" is. I'm not even sure that there is a reason for human existence, much less a "sole reason" for it. In a discussion about that topic, I'd probably take the position that if there is any reason for human existence, then it makes as much sense to surmise there are - or at least might be - multiple reasons rather than just one sole reason. But these sorts musing have absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the topics that are the core issues and points of contention on this thread.
I’m sure he can defend himself, but I long concluded that for Verbosa, it’s a combination of both disingenuousness and incapacity to read simple things as written inferring the most natural contextual meanings, like most non-bot readers do; and in fact, the former may have caused the latter, a bit like how Eric Cartman starts out feigning Tourette’s but eventually ends up really losing the ability to control it.
As for owls and grizzlies, yes, saying owls are nocturnal does not imply that being awake is the sole reason for their existence, but simply on the basis of owls’ proclivity to nocturnality, insisting that owls can not participate in daytime races is nutty; combining that with owls can’t even pee during daytime is starting to approach the view that nocturnality defines owlness and everything must revolve around that aspect. (Extrapolating analogous nutcasery to grizzlies is left as an exercise to the reader.)
There are people who do not want Andraya Yearwood to run. They are bothered by the sight of her. Angered by the thought of her. The black scrunchie on her wrist, the ponytail down her back...
My all time favorite article on this which sums up just how lost society is on this, and this is my favorite line:
"There is no proof that cisgender men are inherently more capable than cisgender women."
In terms of physical speed and strength in the context of sport?
Why do people with this knowledge of sport get to comment on anything to do with sport? I might as well start a blog on the the ins and outs of heart surgery and demand that what I write be taken seriously.
How about the trans athlete can compete in the race, but cannot "break the tape" (if they come in first place) or stand on the podium? Because those things don't matter, right? Right?? Oh wait...

Agree, it’s a good line indeed. Very thoughtful. Just because you are a cis man doesn’t mean you are guaranteed to be faster than cis women. It reflects a solid understanding of statistical distributions, not just a simplistic reduction of everything to means.
We're talking about high level sport, not a generic hobbyjogger race.
The mile WR is 3:43.13 vs 4:07.64
Exactly - and this is the classic circle logic that is relied upon to justify this f-ing nonsense.
No kidding that in 2023 Shericka Jackson has run faster than 99% of the male population on earth. But if you now narrow down that sample size to human beings that actually competitively run the event, she isn't better than 8000 (8422 to be exact) men on the planet this year. That's not because they train harder or are more talented athletically than she is in the context of the human race - it's because they are inherently more capable than she is at sprinting due to the testacles attached to their body - the fundamental physiological characteristic of the cisgender male.

Glad to see you rise up to provide more data agreeing with the line in the article that you said you liked so much.
In case some folks didn’t notice, the article is about a high school kid, not elite sport and not Shericka Jackson (but I realize, telling different black people apart can sometimes be tricky for some.)

Are “talented athletically” and “inherently more capable” not the same thing?
Huh? Kiltedrunner asked how many different gametes humans have, and you came back with an idiotic non sequitur - "how many karyotypes exist in humans?" - like it's some kind of clever gotcha.
This just goes to show ever more clearly that you can't provide any coherent arguments for your repeated ridiculous assertion that "human sex isn't binary." It also suggests you have no clue what gametes and karyotypes are.
A nonsensical question deserves an equally nonsensical answer.
I wonder why anti-trans people are so eager to deny the existence of intersex people. What are they afraid of? Does their anti-trans ideology depends on the absence of intersex people?
The two core issues that you and I disagree over here are
1) whether people with DSDs that occur solely in individuals with male DNA and normally-developed but atypically-located male gonads, aka testes, that pump out male levels of testosterone like AIS and XY 5-ARD should be regarded as automatically having a right to compete in the female category of sport;
2) whether males who don't have any kind of DSD but who have adopted an opposite-sex gender identity and taken drugs to suppress the maturation and output of their testes during adolescence should be regarded as automatically having a right to compete in the female category of sport.
Ancillary to these issues is whether people with disorders of male sex development and males who claim an opposite-sex gender identity and might or might not have taken drugs to suppress their T levels should be considered female or male - or in their own category - in other areas of life and law where people's sex matters.
But rather than engage in honest debate over these topics in good faith, all you and blokes like crickle and Lenny do is
insist that you are right in chest-thumping fashion;
call everyone who has different views - especially if we happen to be female - hateful bigots, dimwits, "transphobes," meanies and rightwing extremists;
claim that everyone who has an issue with males in female sports and with putting kids on so-called "puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones all must be members of the USA's Republican Party and/or Trump voters, even though the strongest and most widespread pushback against these things so far has come from people and institutions outside the USA, especially people and orgs in European countries that are generally considered to be amongst the most socially-progressive, tolerant and fair-minded places on earth like Sweden, Norway and the UK;
keep asserting that posters who disagree with you - especially the few of us who are female - are so intellectually deficient, ignorant, uninformed, unsophisticated that we have no idea what we are talking about and should be ignored;
make repeated claims that posters who disagree with you have such poor reading comprehension that we are inherently incapable of grasping what rulebooks, legal decisions, medical case reports, articles in medical and scientific journal articles, and gender identity ideologues say;
come up with lame lines like:"I wonder why anti-trans people are so eager to deny the existence of intersex people. What are they afraid of? Does their anti-trans ideology depends on the absence of intersex people?"
As though disagreeing over how people with a handful of conditions affecting male sex development, and how males who claim an opposite-sex gender identity, should be categorized for sport and other purposes is the same as being "eager to deny the existence" of everyone with DSDs (the vast majority of whom are female, BTW).

Is it Opposite Day and do you mean condescending and dismissive posts by alleged females like below? Does openly claiming womanhood give you some unique verbal attack privileges unavailable to others? Cut this crap of making everything out to be a persecution of you because of your sex organs. Nobody here cares what you have down there.

Here, this is easy to settle: just say the following and I’ll grant you this one: “I believe that intersex people exist”.
If you can’t bring yourself to say the above, stop prattling pointlessly.
Ancillary to these issues is whether people with disorders of male sex development and males who claim an opposite-sex gender identity and might or might not have taken drugs to suppress their T levels should be considered female or male - or in their own category - in other areas of life and law where people's sex matters.
I’m willing to engage in debate about this, as I think it is enough related to the sports issue to explain why you hold the view you do.
Which “other areas of life and law where people’s sex matters” are you talking about here? And then could you say whether you see any instance where a person born male could be considered female or vice versa?

I have never made that position, and never will. So you can forget about building that strawman. You are not "engaging in honest debate in good faith." You are intentionally distorting my view to make me look bad.
I will just make one more comment on the rest of your post. I have never made and will never make any distinction regarding your sex/gender when I criticize your view. If a male poster made the same argument, I would criticize that argument in the exact same manner. So you'd better stop weaponizing your sex. It has no effect of silencing me. The only time I mention the sex/gender of other posters is when I call out misogyny of other men. Maybe you have never seen that because you seem to have no interest in women's basketball, soccer, tennis, gymnastics, volleyball, etc. unless there is a trans or a DSD athlete involved.
