The vaccination for SARS COV2 will be extremely difficult to make because the virus acts on the external surface of body - to intents and purposes, the respiratory tract is 'external' and acts to transfer O2 in, CO2 out. It is not essentially a blood borne virus, but the effects of it will be transmitted by blood.
Vaccines to create an antibody effect on the outside of body is very difficult.
I didn't know this. Thanks for posting.
I don't think we'll find a vaccine that really works, but I'm certain that a vaccine will eventually be foisted on the public. Why? Three reasons: 1) The profit potential is staggering! If only half of Americans got vaccinated at $50/injection, that's $8 billion! 2) A vaccine will calm the masses 3) A vaccine might actually provide a minimal benefit, but probably not as good as the recommendation that follows.
A better approach, and one that continues to fly below the radar of experts and the public, is boosting the immune system with natural substances, including but not limited to vitamin D, vitamin C, echinacea, other nutraceuticals, and exercise. This approach is inexpensive, has no side effects, and has a TREMENDOUS added benefit. Boosting the immune system reduces the risk of colds, flu, pneumonia, and numerous other major illnesses. It's sad that this isn't being recommended by Fauci et al, especially when exercise would also combat the obesity epidemic.
