The defending and denial from some people regarding the Vaporflys is cringeworthy to say the least. I've worn them and let me tell you this I've never felt so good towards the end of marathon. I Smashed my PR by 9 minutes, friend was minutes slower in adidas Adizero boost 3.

Ok so you just trained harder and got faster and you’re friend didn’t train as much. Wow besides 9 minutes off of a 4.5 hour marathon is mainly placebo effect anyway.
Not quiet 4.5 hours. 2.33 nothing to write home about considering your most likely an olympian living his parents basement in romance with a sock.
