youre max heart rate is not 224, thats complete bullshit.
you can not determine a max heart rate by couting beats in your head

resting: 39
MAX: 194

Resting is 30-35 max is 170. At a 6:00 pace for 30 minutes it coasts around 155.
how is your resting HR so low, yet your max is so low, normally a stronger resting HR correlates to a higher max.
my resting HR is higher than yours at 39 bpm, but running 6:00 for 30 mins my heart is at 174 bpm.
so basically i have a weaker heart based on resting rate, however if i had your max my heart would explode at 6 flat pace.
Sometimes as low as 37 rest, never above 180 that I know of.
Even if 2 people had the same rest and the same max HR, there could be differences in the middle, eh?

I mean differences at various paces.
0 resting and 0 max
resting 26, taken by a nurse; I was in excellent shape then now I'm about 32 or so...
max 198 taken recently
which gives a range of... 172, and I'm a complete crap runner so I'll go along with the HR means nothing...
how old are you? that explains alot regardless of condition.
i am 28 - resting ~32, max ~193
resting hr means crap - i think 32 is on the low side and i am a very mediocre runner
in addition - any measurement taken without a heart rate monitor i consider to be completely and utterly meaningless
does anyone know what jim ryuns was, rhr and mhr
My heart is really strange. I run 80 miles a week and yet my resting heart rate is only 58-62! But somehow I can get my HR up to over 240 at the end of a hard workout.
Additionally, by bp is about 145/80 even though I have very low bp, am a vegetarian without bad genes. None of the docs can figure it out. I've had lots of tests. I take hydrochlorothiazide, Lisinopril and KCl. Before the meds my bp was in the 160 range.
I meant to say very low body fat
