Why don't you just go ahead, devote your life to running.
Run 3:35, make the top 3 at nationals.
Go to Worlds for perhaps a once in a lifetime opportunity to see how high you can place.
Then sacrifice that to help someone else that people think is better than you.
I know it's been done before but you can't call those that race for themselves gutless.
webb has the balls to take it to the front....
he has shown that he isn't going to sit back and kick for top five. instead he goes out with the leaders and runs for the win AND somehow he gets alot of s*^t for it on this board.
then he goes and runs tactical races at the us championship and gets alot of s*^t for running slow and not forcing the pace. some idiots even had the nerve to say that webb was "lucky" to win over lukezic.
what a joke. no matter what webb does there are idiots attacking it as if they can run better/faster/stronger.
i admit i am fat and slow but i really enjoy watching webb go for it.
if you think webb hasn't set the bar for the current and next generation of up and coming U.S. talent you are absoluetly wrong.
as for world championship webb, once he makes it to the final, will have all that olympic baggage off of him and feel 10 pounds lighter, and Webb WILL destory himself in that final.

hmmn me thinks webb needs a fast pace to do well, yet I don't think he has the strength to last the rounds. This exactly the same for Komen, if he can still run 3.30 after 3 rounds then the gold is his, otherwise give it to either Heshko, Silva, East, or Baala
