I don't necessarily disagree completely with that, but the thing is it's hard to identify the potential 800m talent for High School teens who are already jacked, isn't it? 16 year old soccer players can be spotted by athletics coaches - that's how Said Aouita and quite a few others began their running careers. Thing is today, it must happen far more the other way round, particularly in GB/Europe with the money involved.
The GB also has sports like Rugby. Josh Kerr's brother is a Scotland rugby international and weighs 210 lbs or something. Although he wasn't picked for the Rugby world cup which is taking place right now. Shame, it would have been maybe unique to have to brothers competing in the world championships of two global sports simultaneously.
