That's interesting. That's kind of like asking will there ever be a black heavyweight world boxing champion?

Running will always be dominated by black athletes, as long as they participate in significant numbers.

more important is that this record moved from maybe-Nike to Nike. Nobody seems to know what brand Pechonkina was wearing, and the videos are too grainy to tell. I was barely able to tell what Muhammad was wearing under her Nike kit! No wonder the sponsors demand everything be their brand. But Nike still has only one or two of the records under 800m, and McLaughlin could snag this one for New Balance sooner or later.

Your reading comprehension needs work. “EPO fueled WR’s” makes no reference to race or nationality. I could have been referring to a British marathoner. Out of competition testing has always been a joke in Africa (it is finally starting in some places such as Kenya). The opportunity was and is there to dope OOC not just with EPO, but other drugs such as testosterone and glucocorticoids, and have a much smaller chance of being popped compared to athletes training in Europe or the US. Even in the days before the EPO test, this could give them an additional advantage.

Cyclists (White) have historically trained in the off season in places like South Africa and the Canary Islands in part to avoid OOC testing. It is about opportunity, not race.

If Ngeny and Lagat were using EPO then you’d have to say the same for Rudisha. Saying the 1500 is unbreakable is like saying Kipketers 800m was unbreakable. The fact that Kiprop came within 3/4 second of it shows that it is not unbreakable

First of all, did you forget that Kiprop is currently serving an EPO suspension? No conjecture needed, he was a doper, and that's how he was able to come close to a doper's record. I'd put money on it that Rudisha was on the same regimen that Kiprop was on.
