Centro reveals why he left NOP

Centro is an excellent technician and had NOP providing who knows what cocktails, but he is not "super fast" nor will he ever be... at this point.

Centrowitz hasn't run super fast, he's just damn good at running heats and finals at the World and Olympic championships. He never seems to run stupid and always places himself in the perfect spot.[/quote]

I think that's a bit unrealistic, isnt it? Centro is the #42 performer on the 1500m list (even without removal of individuals such as Ramzi, etc).

I believe he's also #3 all time American- both athletes ahead of him being naturalized Africans- Lagat and Maree.

I would just note that people made a big deal about lots of things - like allergy meds, testoboost (the drink) and seeing Dr Brown. Then it turned out that many non-NOP runners (some BTC) see Dr Brown, take allergy meds, or use thyroid meds. Who really knows anything in this board.

As I pointed out in my post, the suspicions around NOP are about a LOT more than Dr. Brown. BTC is not analogous.

In a group there can be only one.

Kejelcha's the only one getting better in that group.

Centro is in maintenance mode.

I'd certainly submit that Engels has consistently improved in the male group as well. I see him with a high likelihood of making the US Doha team.

I am not saying I know anything. I am saying that a lot has been made of the relationship with dr brown but we don’t know what others have done with similar relationships. You don’t either.

salazar is a jerk, one of the greatest coaches, gets on your nerves, plays with the grey area of PEDs, which makes him cleaner than 90% of the medalists coaches.

salazar is not the smartest guy, but his IQ of 115 to 120 makes him stand tall in the world of corporate idiots and fake doctors.

but, salazar is focused, fanatical, and stubborn beyond belief, and these are the traits of a winner.

sal is an ahole winner.

better a winner than a snowflake.

No, but I know a lot of other things that Sleazazar has done that other coaches haven't, which is why Centro may want to distance himself from the doping allegations.

In other words, Centro wants to distance himself from his past doping self. A lot of athletes have chosen this PR path as they age and fade away. Every additional day Centro stayed with Al Sal increases the risk of getting caught - simple math people! Mark my words, Centro will never PR again.

He's not 30 yet, but in any case even if he cleans up his PED use he could still pull a Justin Gatlin. The guys approaching 40! lol Finally, there is simply no way possible that an un-doped Centro could have beaten a doped Kiprop or Makhloufi in an Olympic final. LetsNotForget HISTORY, nor the times Centro's competitors ran in 2015/2016 :-0 ((1:42/3:28 for the latter, 2:14/3:26 for the former))
