You forgot Spencer Brown. I mean he's never qualified for NCAAs (individually), but who's keeping track?

Notable snubs of Stanford that should be considered:
Chris Derrick
Heath brothers
Grant Fisher
Sean McGorty
Jake Riley
Duncan McDonald 13:19 AR before Liquori.

Steve Stageberg, one of the few Americans to take Pre right to the last lap. Garth McKay was probably better than half the guys on that list.

It's interesting that no mention has been made of the much-exalted CU Buffaloes.
I'm not an alumn or fanboy, but I think their All-Stars would be right there with Cardinal and Hoyas trying to sneak up on the Ducks, Badgers, Miners and Razorbacks on the right day.

How has everybody except myself left Chris Derrick off their Stanford Alumni team? Dude was 7th, 3rd, 5th and 2nd. Ran 13:19 indoors and 27:31 before graduating.

Yes, thanks. I was doing my workout this morning, when I remembered Stageberg. I even ran in a race against him. Two more Hoyas that should be on the list are Rod Koborsi and especially Andrew Bumbalough.

While the top 3 for Texas is probably the most formidable of any top 3 (Sang has the fastest lifetime PR of anyone who has run the NCAA steeple and the accomplishments of Lutz and Dohner speak for themselves) their 4th and 5th runners might not be strong enough to finish on the podium.
what the f*ck are you talking about? best top 3? not even close.

Pick your 7 from that -
WSU, Oregon, and UTEP blow this team away
Wisco blows stanford away too. The only way stanford wins is if we're talking about the best arm wrestling team cause clearly buff Hall rips everyone's arms off. But to think that Grant Fisher or McGorty or Sage stack up against Teg, Ahmed, Solinsky, Jager, or McDonald (who just beat Fisher AGAIN!) is crazy. The only teams in the convo are Oregon, WSU, UTEP, and Wisco.
Providence : Larry Olsen, Ray Tracey plus all of these Olympians... Geoff Smith, Brendan Quinn, Steve Binns, John Doherty,
Andy Ronan, Sinead Delahunty, Marie McMahon, Maria McCambridge, Roisin McGettigan, Martin Fagan, Julian Mathews, Dylan Wykes & Stephanie Reilly.
BYU
Lasse Viren
Ed Eyestone
Paul Cummings
Doug Padilla
Henry Marsh
Peter Sherry was a walk on who was top 10 at NCAA on the team with Trautman and Holman
