We are literally biologically programmed to find coffee unpleasant. This isn't my subjective opinion. It is objective truth. It isn't possible to truly "like" coffee any more than you could like any other noxious stimulus like being burned or cut. Basic neurology tells us this.

Anti-freeze is sweet. Does the transitive property mean it’s subjectively good for us?

It's natural to want to follow the heard, and it can be hard to separate objective truth from what we believe due to social pressure. I don't think that anyone is a bad person for thinking they like coffee. I just know that if you were able to strip away the social pressure and taste it objectively without bias, you'd realize that it isn't actually good.

Waaaah, you guys are part of the "heard"! What happened, does your mean old step-dad like coffee, so you feel the need to lash out at others in a useless attempt to get back at him somehow? Well, it won't help. Mean step-dad is still porking your mom, and loving his cup of Joe. He probably slams like 6 cups and then porks her non-stop for hours.

I found a big hurkin can of Folgers in a building we were demolishing and i drank it for months. It was really well past its prime and I could tell it wasn't very good even before it changed color.
