You're missing the point- my kids are better people than I am, and we are all better than you.
From the behavior you're describing, you're a low class piece of trash.
The irony is that we only easy out once a month and I make sure my kids are well behaved and/or not next to other customers. We only go to family friendly places and during lulls in the middle of the day. It's takeout otherwise.
I was just irritated by the self righteous attitude of someone calling himself "Yelp Reviewer" with a PSA on LetsRun and decided to give him a dose of his own medicine because when you see parents struggling with their kids throwing a fit or being squirmy you can go eff yourself if you're bothered byit because you are the last thing on their mind - they are probably trying to raise a human being so they don't turn out like you or me.

Next time you're at Applebees & a black family with 3 kids, the mom, & a 270# aunt sit next to your precious quiet booth, please stand up & tell them you'd like them to move. And get it on tape for us. Same for the poster who said he'd grab their tush.
Or better yet, try spanking kids as he said he would.

I know your love your kids and they are probably the most special kids on the planet. But you need to understand something. Never, ever, ever, sit at a table with your children next to another occupied table -- UNLESS that table is also occupied with children.
Thanks!
Oh I so wish my kid was younger and we sat next to you. I'd let him dig into the diaper and whip it in your face.
Don't eat at Chi-Chi's next time, loser

In a booth situation, particularly where the backs or seats are attached, never, ever, ever sit with your kids unless there is an empty booth in between you and another party.
What you probably don't realize because you are numb to it is that your kid is squirming around, jumping up and down, slamming against the back of the booth, and all that is transferring into the bodies of the person seated on the other side. Surely you can imagine how annoying that must be?
Also, allowing your bored child to be "entertained" by loud video games on a phone or tablet is not appropriate in any restaurant other than Chucky Cheese, and maybe McDonalds.
And, if you didn't know this -- it's completely ok to tell a hostess to seat you away from other couples or people without children. So if you walk into the restaurant with your little bundle of joy and he/she tries to put you next to someone, just do this -- point to a table further away and say "Can we sit there? These people look like they want a little more privacy". This also sends a valuable message to dimwitted restaurant staff who try repeatedly to seat families with small children on top of other people that this is not acceptable -- a win all around!
Thanks!
Let me guess, instead of telling this to the parents whose kids are doing this, you rant on an anonymous message board because in real life you’re not tough enough to handle the situation yourself? Or you realize it’s rude to speak up. But again, on an anonymous message board you can hide behind the keyboard.

Just fawn over my kids at say "awww how cute" like everyone else and I won't brush their snot rags on you as you walk by.
On second thought, it does allow me plenty time to fondle your wife's tush which she clearly doesn't mind by her smile and wink, so nevermind....
Jesus Christ, we need to figure out a way to keep the boomers off this site.
Well, covid put an end to my worries. No eating out at all anymore. Problem solved!
A place with booths is very likely not a fine-dining kind of place. I'm okay with expecting parents not to bring kids to a high-end place, but if you're eating at a family-friendly kind of place, expect to see families there.
I never understand why restaurants do not have sections reserved for families with children. We use to have smoking and non smoking sections,
Children are more important than adults.
If you don't like a family, go tell the husband that you have a problem with his family. The problem will resolve itself.
