I think maybe you could go half a size down. The fit of the upper is a bit roomier than other brands or fast shoes. I think the lockdown is much better than the Boston 6. The heel counter is better and the sides have more structure. I think you may just need to size down. The Boston 6 seems to run a lot smaller than the Run Fast. I would say the Forever fits bigger than the Run Fast also, but the upper itself doesn't feel sloppy.

As for PR's in the Run Fast, I haven't really raced a bunch in it. I use it for fast training. I think it is comparable to the Boston, but over 2 oz lighter, and more bouncy/cushioned overall. The forefoot seems to have more Floatride too. The Boston is kinda thin and lacking Boost in the forefoot where the ride us unremarkable. The Run Fast outsole is a tank also.

Got my size 13s in today. I think they will fit just fine on my size 14 feet. Definitely plenty of length, and I THINK with width will be fine. I would agree with anyone who says to order a half size smaller, if it is available.

That being said, man these feel great. Really looking forward to trying these out. Simple upper, lively, cushioned midsole, and actually has an outsole. Reebok may have a winner in here #waytooearlypredictions

And that is all while being light and only $100. If I wanted only one shoe for training, this would probably be the one. Light enough to do workouts, cushioned enough for long/easy days, great bouncy midsole feel, balance between soft and still stable, durable, temperature resistant, and good traction.

These sound promising although there is another shoe for $100 full outsole coverage and 9oz in the Brooks Launch 6.

It definitely has a nice pop to the forefoot and feels lighter than it is. And yes available in a 14 and wides

Btw, the “permanent insole” can be removed quite painlessly and subbed for something thinner, thicker, or just more customized. I wear a 14, but these in a 13 (they don’t offer a 14 #effyoureebokandadidas) combined with my own super-thin insole fit me perfectly.

This shoe is a bit lighter too I think. Especially if you go half size down.

I ordered a half size down now too to compare and see if that fit is right.

Thanks :-) I have actually been thinking today about how much I enjoyed running in them this morning.

I tried a pair of the RFRF as soon as they came out in the 13. They almost fit when I put in a thinner insole - and would have been fine for short races - but as I was looking for a LD racer, I ultimately returned them.

Too bad, too. I LOVED the way the shoe felt when running fast.

Takeaways: Both shoes are great. Fast runs maybe a quarter size large, Forever Energy runs at least a half size large, possibly more.

That may be true...I did go over to traditional Eva (Pegasus 34s/Brooks launches) after I had a disaster with Solar glide. Maybe it was the overly softness but everytime I ran with solar glide I would have a piriformis/IT band flare up when I went back to an old 500+ mile launch I'd be good again...hopefully reeboks midsole is Not like Boost

The Forever is more stable and less wild/sloppy than Boost.

I also use the Run Fast. I have been using it since this summer for most of my speed work. Fantastic shoe.

I now understand that theJeff puts up with all the toxic harassment on this board knowing that, as someone that used to play college football, he could probably crush all the fake macho boys here lol.

Anyways, I'm one of the 120lb skinny boys, and this shoe is still great.

Let us know how 1/2 size down is. Also you've run in RFRF how are those width wise? I'm currently in NB1400v6 and Brooks Launch /pegs34 and find all those good enough in width. I did not however find Boston 6s wide enough...

I would say 1/2 size down is the right size. There is still enough room for the toes and it isn' t too narrow either. The Boston 6's definitely run smaller and narrower than this shoe.
