I know that when Mary signed her contract with Nike, Nike was going to pay her tuition for college (don't know about grad school). Not sure if she is finished with college or not but if she's still attending then Nike is obligated to keep paying her tuition.

Her dads an anesthesiologist in westchester county. I think they can afford Fordham without Nike dollars.
No one has mentioned asics. Not popular with anyone who ran for their HS track team or NCAA, I will admit, but Kastor's group is asics-affiliated to the same extent BTC or NOP are Nike-affiliated. This may bum out many of you, but it is actually possible that both of them have made a huge sponsorship switch!

First of all, Alexi is a wonderful person, and you are not her intended market. Second, there are plenty of other athletes for you to follow.
She's just being herself and speaking to other "runnergirls" out there traveling the path and experiences of running that she has.
If you can't handle someone just being themselves, authentic, genuine, and being successful in multiple careers - you are the problem, not the target of your dislike.
Alexi has survived a tough beginning in life (her mother committed suicide) and became an academic success, a creative success, and an athletic success.
She is a great role model for her fans.

The last time that I turned my test in without answering any questions, my teacher marked every answer as incorrect. Are you saying that he was the one who was incorrect? If an answer is not correct, it is incorrect.
I agree with you that Alexi markets herself directly to high school/college girls. Obviously, that’s going to lead to her social media presence and general persona being more twee and cheerleaderish. I don’t personally find her interesting or funny but I’m not her target audience. There’s nothing wrong with that.
I also agree that people on here are way too harsh on her, bordering on cruel.
What I don’t agree with is that she’s a good filmmaker or writer. Film industry is hard as hell and I respect her for going for her dreams, but either she’s just not that talented in that arena or she needs to improve a lot. High school girls might disagree—again, nothing wrong with that.

2) Used her dual citizenship to compete for Greece in the Olympics instead of going the much harder route of trying to make the U.S. team
3) Claimed she did #2 for the purpose of inspiring young Greek girls, and not for any personal gain
4) Created some grade school level "short films" for the NYT
5) Wrote a very poorly-penned article in the NYT about being friends with a Chicago Cubs player (but mostly about how she's an Olympian)

2) You make her sound like a pretender when in fact she beat the 3rd place American in an Olympic 10,000
3) She is. Even if she were just the 1st woman to rep Greece in 10K, she would be an inspiration. But she's out there, connecting & talking to fans. Like many Euro countries, participation in girls sports lags far behind boys' compared to US.

7) You are 1 out of 7. Talk about sub par. But yes, she had a disappointing race, like half of the American elites. She hadn't raced since the Olympics - and she re-injured herself - she has sub 2:30 speed and will get it, if she wants it.
