Well, that takes aeway from true fast 2-mile APFT Army guys like me because I did my 2 miles in 9:36 during my last APFT at a standard 200m indoor track. This was a week after coming from Army 10 Miler where I completed the race in 52 minutes (of course slower than usual). It has been unusually hot during army 10 miler in DC for the last two years in a row. See you guys at USATF Cross Country Championships. Go Army!
I was a DOR in BUDs class 292. Good thing I had a heart condition. My best PST score was 635, 500 combat side stroke 8:48; Push Ups 84; Sit Ups 109; Pull ups 24, 1.5 mile 7:24. At prep the test was longer 1mile fins swim 17:48; 4mile run 23:16. Push; Sit ups ; Pull Ups around the same. Best O course was 8:53 I sucked did it faster as weapons tech with the teams. I never once said I was SEAL I said I went to BUD/s some of my best friends are SEALS I WOULD NEVER TAKE THAT TITLE. I was honored to have had a chance to work with them.

Different times in the 90s, while there was WCAP at the time, it wasn't filled with Kenyan runners as it is now. I've attached the thread from 2003...some interesting stuff there, including my story of meeting a guy named Cameron Copher, who was from Washington.

Back when I was 60, went to DC for a week. Jogged around the corner to the track at Robert E Lee high school.
Army recruiter was getting his squad ready for a 2 mile run.
Asked him if it was ok if I ran too and pointed out it was a public track
Ok he said but try not to get in the way.
I was only running in the 7 - 7:20 range, and I lapped the whole group twice.
The recruiter shook his head when I left and said have nice day SIR.

There have been countless max lift brag threads on LRC.
Finally, unless you are 40 pounds, 20 pounds is not 1.5x your bodyweight, you idiotic weakling.
I rarely run into military personnel lying. I have often crossed paths with life long civilians claiming prior military service. Often civilian weapon contractors. Civilian weapon contractors who never served think they know enough about military to get away with lying about military service.

The reason why this guy is lying about running a sub 6 minute mile is because he's a highly successful YouTube vlogger who appears to be making a nice income from his channel, which is all about bull$hit like this. He has over 1/4 million subscribers. As long as he doesn't get de-monetized for making a poor taste Hitler joke, or misgendering a transsexual celeb or something, he probably has a steady $xxx,xxx income from vacuous videos like this one.
Who really gives a shiit... there are 12 year old girls who could run 5850 metres or whatever it was in 6 minutes.
