The meet itself wouldn't be lucrative. But getting to on a world champs team significantly boosts their chances of getting visas and invites to compete overseas and make money.

For the most part correct. But there are plenty of crooked African coaches and officials in the mix (Aden was a big player) who have their palms greased by people from Europe of course. After looking at this for a long while I have to agree with the guys I used to think were nutty and I now believe a lot of this cheating by Africans and others that is allowed is done so as part of an attack on Westerners and certain Asian countries like Japan.

I totally agree with everything you wrote. Today I was watching the IAAF World U20 Championships from Tampere and the winner of the women's 400 m, Hima Das from India, is obviously a guy and in the women's pole vault the third place finisher, Alice Moindrot from France is also obviously a guy.

I was being sarcastic. My reply was a parody of someone deeply brainwashed in post-modern nonsense. I guess I laid it on a little too thick for everyone to get the joke.
