This is what I don’t get. I think I understand scarcity marketing for collectables, but these are shoes designed to be used and then another pair bought. In the year since they have been released I’ve not been able to get a pair, and have been through 4 pairs of Adios in that time. Only one guy I know has a pair out of a dozen who would buy them if they could. I feel like they haven’t cashed in on the concept, especially if other companies come out with something similar soon.
Can someone who knows marketing explain to me hoe they benefit here?
