That's not true -- Centro also won World Indoors and ran the fastest mile in the world in 2016. If he hadn't done that, Kiprop definitely would have been #1 last year.

Amos has the #2 time on the year just 0.08 seconds back from Korir.
But Amos has 3 Diamond League wins (London, Rabat and Paris) to Korir's 1 League win (Monaco).
Plus Amos made the World Championship final and Korir did not.

Obviously the Berian should be at least in the number 3 position ahead of Murphy. Clearly has shown he's head and shoulders above the rest of the US guys this year besides potential world record holder Brazier of course.

Until Brazier has an Olympic medal and a 1:42 time, Murphy is better than Brazier.
IAAF awards $60k for world champions win, $10k for diamond League win, and $50k for overall event diamond League winner. Based on that logic, winning world championships is equal to winning 6 diamond League races and better than being event overall diamond League winner. Bosse should be ranked much higher than 5th.
So is he out training in Australia?
