The Monday before Philly she did a 30 miler finishing up with 5:40s at the end. Plus she lifted and swam later that day. And remember, that was a week after Prague. Don't put too much stock in those race times. She was definitely training through. And has increased her training from her Boston prep. She is fit.
Boston is tough on the legs with all the downhill running. Jordan was turning and looking behind her a half mile from the finish line. While it was an A+ effort, it was not optimum.

I remember turning around and looking back on some of my best races. I was super happy after wards with those race(s), even some of which I got passed late in. I would rather see her turn around at 2:23:00 then finish strong at 2:24:30.

Whats your point? Everyone wants to know if someone is closing on them whether they finish strong or not. Also, she wasnt denying that the last 6 miles were very mentally challenging. As it should have been, she ran very fast

Only with (more?) PEDS. I'm with Rojo. Before Boston her whole post hs career pointed to 2:28 at best. To pop a 223 was extraordinary. I do not believe her capable of faster without 'help'.

That was in there initially and then I realized her half might be a 2:23 on some conversions so we wrote later, "Prior to Boston, Hasay ran 68:40 and 67:55 for the half-marathon with that 67:55 being the only thing in Hasay’s career that anyone might think was indicative of a 2:23 flat marathon."
But nothing pre Boston buildup even suggested it was remotely possible. If I asked most people a year ago, will Jordan Hasay ever run 2:23 flat in a marathon or be top 3 at at world marathon major, people would have laughed at me.

There is a physiological formula ( take for whats it worth) that seems to closer for women's times vs mens elites that you take half marathon time, add 8 minutes and you get probable marathon finishing time. In Jordans case it seems accurate give or take a minute.

Some people respond really well to marathon training, such as Paula who significantly improved her already fast 3k time after moving to the marathon
