I am almost underweight and run a 4:15 marathon (my 5k is 24 minutes) and do 400m-mile repeats on a track.
Not all slow people are fat. Some of us are just really unlucky and unefficient.

For the fastest person on this board, everyone else is a hobby jogger.
So unless the OP is that fastest person himself, he is also a hobby jogger to someone else. Does he deserve to be screwed?
Why dont you sign up for an ultra and be a real man instead of a sissy? All you sissified 5 and 10k dudes prancing around in your a$$ length shorts are really beginning to get on my nerves.

Yep, I have acquaintances or work colleagues that cannot stop waffling on about their "Ironman" status on Instagram and then you realize they couldnt run a sub 4 hour marathon to save their life. The 'more = better' crowd infuriate me, its obviously far far harder to run a sub 2 min 800m than it is to 'complete' an Ironman but the former doesnt have an entire hype machine surrounding it.
