Mo Farah is running's answer to Lance. Lance dominated his sport's most prominent event, the only one that media (and casual fans) followed closely. Otherwise, though, he did little that would qualify him for GOAT cyclist status. This is basically what Mo does in distance running -- dominate the global championships that get media coverage but do virtually none of the other things (dominating the pro circuit, doing well at World XC and road running) that real GOAT candidates accomplish.
And that's leaving out the obvious connections between Lance and Mo related to doping.
He's one of the best ever easily
But seriously bekele in his prime on the track would have won that race easy, like the race would have been over with 150 to go and bekele would have been a good 10-15 meters clear of anyone

It couldn't have been aging or wear and tear because look at Mo!! He's older than these guys. Just got a late start is all. Late bloomer. Misses tests on accident and sucks at geography.

Geb - 10 golds (counting indoors). Set 27 world records.
Mo - 10 golds. 0 World records. Wait, make that 1 world record I forgot about the indoor 2 mile.
Kipchoge - 2 golds. Ran faster marathon ever. Better PR than Farah at 3k, 5k, and 26.2.
