27:28 road and 60 flat half marathon say that one or both could conceivably be in sub 27 shape. Mo has run 12:53/26:46/59:32 (unaided course). He also has the following record in competitions since joining Salazar/Aden:

2015 World's gold/gold

2016 Olympics gold/gold.

Eh.. They lived in Kenya for long enough..but I see what you mean. They kinda seem like white cracker boys. They've always come across as extremely angry. My guess is that they live in Kenya only because they no choice. They're not Kenyan because they run for New Zealand and identify as such. And I agree they are exploitative of Kenya, like it's colonial times. No one would even know who they are if they weren't the two white guys in Kenya.

I was at Payton Jordan and spoke to Jake after he DNF'd. He had a calf issue that came up during the travel to California by plane. He then was on pace with the leaders and said he was feeling amazing except for that. The eventual winner, Tiernan ran 27:30-ish with Mo Ahmed right with him. Jake Robertson would have broken Zane's NR if not for the calf injury and would have made the finish sub-27:30.

If you donkeys paid any attention you would see both brothers are steadily progressing toward 27 flat.... plus nothing wrong with some SWAGGER in a world of sissies....
