Who will win 2017 USA Cross Country Championship in Bend Oregon this Saturday afternoon?

ail has qualified for the team 5 or 6 times and should be the same for this year.

Courtney was 4th at last year's NCAA's, was 13th the year before.

FYI, bring your snow shoes and be prepared for mid-30s and rain. A challenging race will allow some runners from out of nowhere to make the US team. I love it.

I'll be at Deschutes, no wait, Crux, or maybe Bend Brewery, Worthy, Boneyard, Monkless, Silver Moon, Immersion...oh never mind.

I don't know of a Friday night event since the race is the next morning, but the after-party has been at Silver Moon the last couple of times.

What about Joe Gray? Max King did well here last year, as the off camber stuff suits a trail runner. Gray has won the NACAC XC championships in 2014, won the 2013 club XC championships... I want to say he'll be in the top 6.

Another Kenyan parade at a US championships. Great.

On a flat road course, 100% the Kenyans win, but a semi-gnarly course with cold conditions opens the door for others. Go Derricks...he's proven in this environment. I don't think Gray is fast enough.

He designed this one, too, but I think he had to make changes because of the large amount of snow.

We've had a hell of a winter and there are some large piles of snow. Like was mentioned before, there is a ton of ice and snow and more on its way, so long spikes and whoever is best in running in this would be who I put my money on.

Joe Grey will be winning this.
