Open your eyes. No one is getting worked up about this. We’re just pointing out the flaws in people defending this Alberto situation. I for one have read too many posts about how great Tyson would be as OU's distance coach. I want to see him get the chance. Now Rupp, who claims to want to join the OU team after so many people have stated he would not want or need to run in college when he can run Pro, is going to continue training under Alberto.
Salazar is not going to be in Eugene every day. I'd imagine Rupp will be doing some workouts with the entire team and some with Salazar. I fail to see how Tyson is a puppet. He will be working with Rupp some, and he, not Alberto, will be directing the rest of the athlete's training. Have any of you saying Tyson is a puppet actually met him? He's not the kind of guy that would sign up for something to strictly be a puppet for someone else.
Finally, OU is Oklahoma, or Ohio University. It is not Oregon. That is UO. If you're so intimately familiar with how this setup is going to work and who is a puppet and who isn't, it might help if you actually knew what school you were talking about.
