I'm finally back at some consistent running.. had a long lay off due to a torn popliteus tendon (back of the knee down till the calf muscle)
Anyway, have been running for the past month around 60k a week..
Managed the following:
5k - 17'50" (local 5k road race)
10k - 37'36" (solo training run )
15k in 59'58" @ quite a comfortable effort (running last 8k way sub 4'00"/km)
Today did my first track session:
5 x 500 in 1'34" average with 100m walk back
5 x 200m in 34" average w/30" rest
1,500m time trial in 4'50" (after the above session)
Hope to get the blog going & make a few friends along the way who can support my journey towards Tokyo Paralympic Games.
