fastest soccer players average Adam Gemilis time. Gemili wasn't even the fastest on his team when he played there.
His times are 9.97/19.97

Seeing how fast some of those guys like Ronaldo and Bellerin can move, how fast do you think an average pro soccer can run a 100/200/400? I think most soccer players in the top clubs would be pretty f*cking fast. My guess for the AVERAGE times would be pretty close to 11.6/23.00/52.3x
I ran 100m at 11.8 as a 16-17yo in HS and was nowhere near the fastest guys, like 4th-5th most of the time. And that was a high school with no running program!!! BTW, I also played soccer, left back, basically defense, later I moved up left midfield, and that should tell you that I didn't have the explosive speed of our strikers...
So, I'm pretty sure that an average professional soccer player can run faster than the stated 11.6 for 100m, in the least;)
Average pro soccer player with no sprint specific training: Low 12s/ Mid 24s / 55. The top 10% would be low 11s/ low 22s / 50.
Average pro soccer player after a year of sprint specific training: 11.3/23.0/52. The top 10% would be 10.5/21.0/47.
They most defiantly would not be running under 10 with some training that is very hard feet to achieve. Many sprinters at the highest levels are still running around the 10s, and considering soccer players wouldn’t have devoted there life to have the speed and technique the fastest sprinters have. It would basically be crazy if they could go sub 10, But they aren’t so it’s not.
Obviously some track sprinters have kicked a soccer ball around but when it comes to soccer being their $$$$$$$$S sport, I seriously doubt any pro soccer player would come close to running 10.4ish 100m, with most unable o break 11.00.
Same in rugby, but more breaking 11.00.
