Agreed. Looks like he slid across the line anyway as he fell, then his head was over the line while he did his pushup. I was a little embarrassed about his sloppy form on the pushup, though :-)

1) The officiating, the DQs, the pass-throughs. No consistency.

2) The gotcha-journalism of NBC (and probably others) breaking DQ news to athletes during their interviews. Lame!

Felix looked like Neymar entering a penalty box in a soccer game. There was some minor contact and she acted like she crushed against Valerie Adams. She also drop and f bomb and pushed her teammate. I always was in awe on how well she handled herself in front of the cameras and in every other situation. She is a class act. However, this time was a sad exception.

You guys are the first to rail on anybody who is a doper. I find it strange that you so adamantly defend Ayana (and other Ethiopians and Kenyans). You seem to have a reverence for them that blinds you to the skepticism that many on this site have. A skepticism that you have fostered with your drug comments in your own write ups. Yes, I agree that her 10k is not an outrageous time for someone with that 5k time. But you seem to be assuming that the 14:12 5k is legitimate and without PEDs. THAT is the major flaw in your argument. Destroying a world class field by such margins is unheard of. The fact that so many ran so fast and set PRs and NRs, makes it all the more suspicious that she ran away so convincingly. It also causes suspicion about those setting NRs and PRs. The reality is that every performance at an elite level is suspicious now due to state sponsored doping, corrupt doping officials, non-existent out of competition testing, and scores of elites who have been busted. I am stunned that you are so supportive of the 10k WR.
