Vipam - I answered your question. Check the results for the meet where both Qu and Wang Junxia broke the 1500m record. I believe Wang ran under 2:00 for the 800m in the same meet. The results might have been in T&F news.
Sevatonic - Wang Junxia's time for the 1500m is 3:51.
Sevatonic and dunes runner
IT'S NOW A FACT
Regina Jacobs IS the FIRST and ONLY women to run:
sub 2 minutes for the 800m
sub 4 minutes for the 1500m
sub 15 minutes for the 5000m
Wang Juxia shattered the 1500m, 5000m and 10000m barriers; however, she never ran a sub 2 minute 800m.
Qu Yunxia world record holder for the outdoor 1500 of 3:50,
ran 1:56 for 800m, but only had a 15:04 5000m pr along with a 2:24:24 marathon from 1993.
It is evident that a few women probably could have beaten Regina to the feat; however, none of them did!
Dunes Runner,
3:51 I know, I was just saying the other junxia's performance which was still good enough under 4 minutes. Hey man you'll never know when she did run that 800m at the school national champs ---> I went to Guang Zhou last December, just check the stadium, 1989 1:58.17 Wang Jun Xia (not Juxia) - Schools Record.
Vipam,
Wang Junxia:
sub 4 min 1,500m
sub 15 min 5,000m
sub 30 min 10,000m
THE ONE AND ONLY.
Satisfied eh?
karangasem.
Sevatonic - thanks : )
Vipam - have you checked the results for that meet?
I'm quite sure she ran the 800m too, and under 2:00.

No Limit...What is Suzy's average world ranking in the 1,500 over the last ten years compared to Regina's? You like numbers so do the math...
Regina Jacobs: 5.2
Suzy Hamilton: 5.5

Come on, pal. Just because you say it\'s the real world doesn\'t make it so. Here\'s the real world, as I see it: you\'ve said she\'s dirty because you think saying so somehow makes you look clever (Ohhh no, ain\'t nobody foolin\' this bright bulb), and now you\'ve got to ride that horse till it drops. But you know that won\'t happen because no one can PROVE that they are clean (Exhibit A: despite her best efforts, there are still pinheads who enjoy hearing themselves say that Paula Radcliffe\'s dirty). So you can safely spout your groundless bile as you please, all the while claiming that you\'re doing it because you care about the sport. You don\'t give a crap about the sport. All you care about is the ego investment that you have in your dirty little fantasy.
Put up the evidence, or shut up.
If ya really care about the sport, then you should be concerned about people who get away with cheating, especially the obvious cases.

Let me get this straight. Regina Jacobs has run in countless championships all over the world and not once tested positive for anything. Yet it's "obvious" that she's dirty?
Let's hope you never get selected for jury duty.
Countless? And just how many in the last 5 years? I shouldn't have to tell you where to stick your jury.
You must not have heard this due to all the sand in your ears: U.S. had a gold medal doper in Sydney. Since he or she didn't test positive in Sydney, therefore that athlete's clean?
WAKE THE FUCK UP!

Here's just her major international championships in the last 5 1/2 years.
2001
World Outdoor Championships
1999
World Outdoor Championships
1998
Goodwill Games
1998
World Cup
1997
World Outdoor Championships
Then there are all her U.S. Championships, meets on the European circuit, and Oly Trials, not to mention her out-of-competition tests.
No, Mr. Berkowitz, those voices in your head aren't real.
Oh yeah, can you smell something fishy?
NORMAL PEOPLE WITH A GOOD SENSE OF NOSE WOULD.
After all those pain years and Regina is growing old, at 39 still manages to run a sub 3:59 Indoor? Come on, get the fact, when Regina was 20-30 yr old, she never managed to run 3:47 let alone 3:51. Unless it was Wang Junxia who ran that night at Boston Indoor, I would not believe it's the real Regina who ran 3:59. Because only an animal like Junxia who had ran 3:51 during her golden era is capable to run 3:59 at such a tender age of 39.
DO I MAKE SENSE (?)
I do respect Mrs.Jacobs but hey....
WAKE UP!!
karangasem.
The only facts on this subject that I am aware of are these: If you go to USADA you will see that Regina was the most frequently tested US athlete in 2001 & 2002 - and (obviously) all the drug test results were negative.
Opinions are something else...and here's mine:
The tall poppy syndrome in US track and field is depressing. Especially from losers who sling accusations of cheating from behind the barricade of anonymity.

"Obviously"?!! So, what does this say about the U.S. gold medalist in Sydney who tested positive for andro/nandro the year before? Obviously you would rather blindly trust the testing process. How naive.
What European meets? Any Golden League meets in the past few years? U.S. Champs and Oly Trials obviously mean nothing if domestic positives are being concealed; did you not know about the 13 U.S. athletes who made the 2000 Olympic team who had tested positive in the past year? How did Jacobs perform at 2001 WC again?
When you do me the courtesy of coming out from behind the cloak of anonymous posting, I will give your opinion merit.
Here is one further fact: The USADA began operations October 1, 2000, with full authority for testing, education, research and adjudication for U.S. Olympic, Pan Am Games, and Paralympic athletes.
This was after the Sydney Olympics.
Blah blah blah. You don't get it, do ya? You're just another pompous, self-important ass. Never heard of ya and I don't care if Giles Norton is your real name or not. You're blind no matter if you say your name is Craig Masback or whether you say you're Joe Shmoe, what you think really doesn't matter any more than what anyone else thinks. USADA is just a new name for the same old bunglers and cover-up artists.

Got a good "sense of nose" for nonsense. The truth is, at least woman older than Regina has run even faster outdoors. I'll let you do your own research and find out who it was.
Get back to me when you can make some sense.

Take a deep breath and stay focused there, Flo. The mud you slung was aimed at Regina Jacobs. Regina Jacobs has run in Europe in the "past few years." You can obviously type -- do your own friggin' research and find out where that was (Yeah, I know, it IS much easier just to spout groundless assumptions). Be careful, though. You might come across something that contradicts your world view.
Jacobs dropped out of the 1500 heats in Edmonton with an achilles injury.
Predictable Flo response: Oh yeah sure RIGHT, achilles injury. Hah! Can't fool me. She was ducking the tests! I know these things. She runs too fast. And I talk to lots of other people who think like I do, so it must be true. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a pompous ass. [Expletive deleted] Regina, and her little dog, too! Hah!
I'll give your other wacko Area-51 delusions all the attention they deserve. . . . . . . . . . . . there, done.
