The wind is a very big deal in sprinting. We can't speculate anything because of windy performances.

He did have a 10.07PR so he is running his best right now.

200m specialist but ran 10.14 in the 100. Won an indoor 200m World title and made the finals of a couple of World Championships but didn't medal. Pretty long career at US National level.

Attended sprint factory Drake University and pulled from the mean streets of Des Moines.

Marti Krulee: 10.06 legal but then cheated by officials because he ran faster than Carl Lewis did in the other section that day. Went to sprint factory San Diego State under Dr. Dick Hill.

He walked on as SDS, wasn't much of a HS sprinter.So to do what he did, cool.

So what happened? In the six Olympics between Bobby Morrow and Carl Lewis, the 100m Olympic champions were equally divided between white and black. And then the whites totally disappeared. What happened was Tom Tellez and Carl Lewis and a training philosophy emphasizing conditioning over explosiveness, and perhaps black sprinters have an advantage in relaxation and max velocity but not necessarily explosive starts and acceleration. White sprinters like Teeters, Cunliff, Prandini are coming out of programs emphasizing power and explosiveness (both the Oregon and USC coaches are followers of Tony Wells), and for this I think we can thank the Jamaicans promoting power development and the need of American programs to compete with them. Sleds, hills, drop/depth jumps, not necessarily a lot of overdistance.

No way Don Beebe was a 4.2 40 man. As he showed in the NFL Fastest Man competition. What white sprinter ever won that? Yep, none.

The fastest white NFLer was SMU sprinter John Roderick a legit 9.3, you don't know about him because he was a bust.

In 1952 Herb McKenley/Lindy Remigino hit the tape as one, some still think McKenley won, as did Remigino. And dont forget Jim Golliday the top ranked sprinter (black) was injured. There was also Morgan States Art Bragg also injured.

From 56-60 we saw the high point/pinnacle for white sprinters in the USA with Bobby Morrow and Dave Sime.

when it comes to black WR holders, Olympic medalists prior to 1960. So it didn't start with Hayes in 64.

When looking at NFL RB's, receivers, cornerbacks, 110 hurdlers, long/triple jumpers, 400m sprinters, 100.200m sprinters we will be talking black athletes most the time, there is a reason for that.

There are more people living in Sprint that there are Black in America
