He is never to be seen supporting athletes in any way in the UK, or even encouraging them at the local meets during which he himself received so much help and support, in the off season. He clearly doesn't want to run in the UK at all.
As for paying tax, he lives outside the UK, his family live in it, he has 4 children with a wife under 30 and in schooling and medical resources alone, his family will consume far more tax than they ever pay here.
I don't want to even speak about him being hideously ugly, as he can't really help that. However, I do find that I have to avert my eyes to other runners when watching him on tv. None of this would happen if he were a generous, considerate person. ie his personality would shine through.

Mo Farah and all of Mo Farah's family live in the US. The whole family lives in Oregon. That documentary about him said he trains and competes away from home for 4-6 months of the year and spends the rest in Oregon. His family uses the services of the state of Oregon. So he damn well should pay tax there. And does.

The other poster incorrectly states that Farah's family sponges off the UK system and he doesn't pay tax there. That is completely incorrect. He pays Oregon tax, a lot more than the value of services he uses (he makes millions of dollars a year), and all of his family live in Oregon.
You are also incorrect on the assumption that Farah doesn't pay any tax to the UK. Every time he races there, he must pay a portion of his worldly earnings in UK tax. That will be a lot of money and 100% than he takes from the UK social service system.
You are also incorrect on the matter that you need to pay UK tax to be knighted. Nor have I heard him say he wishes to be a knight. Nor does a knighthood matter. What a backwards and old fashioned system.
Try to use critical thinking correctly next time.

Perhaps it is just not a situation people are used to in the US with their top athletes. The biggest sports, are American sports like basketabll, football and baseball. The biggest leages are in their home country.
People don't call out out soccer players for moving to live and work in Europe for the biggest soccer clubs. It would be strange thingif they did. Garth Bale lives and works in Madrid. David Beckham did. Just got careers moves, just like Mo Farah's.

Farah changing his tax location to the US is the right thing to to financially and morally.
I will bet anyone he has paid more tax in the UK than he has ever used in services and the same goes for the US. What's more is he likely will pay more US taxes than anyone on Letsrun will pay in their respective lifetimes.
You can dislike Farah for a number of reasons, but just as the TUE nonsense is to doping, his tax situation is to his likeability; irrelevant and barking up the wrong tree.
Farah has expressed his support for the radical Islam, including terrorist groups, multiple times.
