And another thing : the Olympic Champion of Skating on ice (figures) was positive for Meldonium. Sharapova, who is a tennis player, was positive for Meldonium. Abeba Aregawi, who is a specialist of 1500m, was positive for Meldonium. Some Marathon runner was positive for Meldonium.

I'm still waiting somebody able to find a "common denominator" in the activity of a skater of figures, of a tennis player, of a middle distance runner and of a Marathon runner.

It's very clear that NOBODY of these athletes had a real clue about the effects of the substance, and, how many times happens, they supposed that a medicine used for reducing the negative effects of some disease could enhance the normal efficacy of a body in perfect health.

This is not true, but is the effect of a very bad mentality, thinking that only with external supports it's possible to reach top results in any sport.

Under this point of view, I again say that the best testimonial of doping are the wrong informations coming from experts of antidoping about the effects as enhancer of performances.

This message pushes a lot of athletes in any sport, athletes who well know they never can be tested because their value is not at top level, to take some illegal substance with the idea to increase their results without modifying training system in both volume and intensity, and pushes top athletes to look for (at the moment) legal substances, but with the same final goal.

I strongly refuse the idea of assuming something for external aid, legal or not legal for me it's not different : the reason because athletes look for some supplement is wrong, and is the fruit of the current mentality, that all the stories about doping contribute to create.

Incredible. Does he provide any evidence to back up that incredible statement? No. Not so far.

Abeba Aregawi, 1500m World Champion-meldonium, (she only used it because she was afraid of losing the shape she already had from years of top class training at altitude, injured, naive, weak mind).

Endeshaw Negesse,2:04 marathoner and winner of 2015 Tokyo marathon, meldonium(same reasons?)

Girmay Birhanu, 2:05 marathoner, substance not identified yet...

Tsegaye Mekonnen, 2:04 marathoner,name mentioned, no confirmation yet?

Other athletes are being investigated and according to the news article, the substances involved are anabolic steroids including testosterone, the stimulant ephedrine, the masking agent diuretic Furosemide, and OTHER BANNED SUBSTANCES..... gosh, I wonder what they might include....

And then we have:

Rita Jeptoo, 2:18 pr and multiple winner of Boston and Chicago marathons, EPO(didn't need it, weak mind)

Matthew Kisorio, 58 min half marathon pr, nandrolone( anabolic steroid, doesn't really count because not blood booster like EPO, even though Matthew said many athletes were using EPO in Kenya).

Liliya Shobukhova, 2:18 marathoner,14:23 5k pr is still the European record,winner of London marathon and multiple winner of Chicago marathon (Did Liliya count as top tier? EPO maybe is effective on top tier Russians but not on top tier KENYANS and ETHIOPIANS BORN, LIVING, AND DOING TOP CLASS TRAINING AT ALTITUDE, trust me, I know, I have lived in the same room with them, they will not even take an aspirin.)

And now we have an old November 22, 2006 article from the Independent, which mentions Jos Hermens, the manager of the great Geb and Bekele, recommending that 3 German athletes should go see Dr. Miguel Angel Peraita in Spain, because he believed some of the Spanish doctor's methods, which included homeopathy, were revolutionary. Dr. Peraita was involved in Operation Puerto, which was a huge doping scandal which involved thousands of doses of anabolic steroids, EPO, and over 200 bags of blood stored in the freezer of Dr. Fuentes, known as "Dr. Blood". We are still waiting today, ten years later,to see if the identities of the 200 bags of blood will ever be made public. There would be lots of interesting names that go with all those bags.

To quote from the article... "I was maybe a little dumb." Hermens said "I should have asked more questions about what Peraita exactly does."

Of all the doctors in the world that Jos Hermens could send his three German athletes to, he recommends this Spanish doctor. (Hermens was just dumb, naive, it is just a coincidence that the doctor was involved in Operation Puerto.)

Jos Hermens just had real bad luck in choosing doctors...

Medical doctor here. This is at best a misunderstand/mistranslation and at worst a very stupid lie.

There are almost no reports anywhere of a person being born with two hearts - this does arise sometime after transplant when the original malfunctioning organ is left in place (see:

). It is also completely unclear how two hearts would be a physiological advantage; one could easily hypothesize the opposite due to shunting and the metabolic demands needed to maintain dual circulations.

But again, this is coming from someone who has claimed that ~"doping doesn't work on the most elite of athletes because there is no level higher than peak", so no one should take anything he says seriously.

of course there is nothing on the internet about two hearts, but that's a red herring anyway, since we have seen the recent story that she wrote a letter in 1995 protesting Ma Junren's feeding them drugs and doing other things.

Will this be another story where they give a specific # of athletes and then we never see a number of names, as they did before World's? I'm still waiting to hear about most of those 28 or so supposed names of dopers, or even to hear an explanation for why we didn't hear them. All bribes?

This is how little the IAAF actually cares about dopers and doping. They throw out a claim as CYA opposite another Seppelt story and do nothing more.

What's more they are under no pressure to do anything to improve. They report to no one and the IOC seems quite satisfied with dopers and doping.

In their list of priorities, protecting the integrity of the sport is last.
