But half the weight. This is how Cain looked 2/3 years ago.
Sadly, that's the POD.

Jet lag caused that ? Where was she coming from, the Moon ?

Cain almost last in 4.20. Winner 4.08. Bet Nike are well pleased paying for her to go over there. She is done. Too heavy and not fit. Sorry.
What does 4:20 convert to for the mile? 5:03-4ish?
This is all mental. She has the yips.
It's not weight. She is terrified of racing.

I can see why....
I would think 4:40 at the most.

The point is that I'd bet her training would suggest she's in 410 shape. But then she runs 420. If her training suggested she was in 420 shape she wouldn't be in the race.
I'd bet she runs 410 or better in practice but her nerves destroy her in races.

I get it. I really think she is much better than this. If it truly is fear holding her back then her coach needs to do a better job working through that with her before throwing her to these wolves. This is the deep end.
Puberty lag
You travel, you have jet lag.
Certainly, she would have run faster without the flight.
Is she scheduled to compete again in Europe?
Don't get me wrong, I don't think she is going to run 4:06 next weekend, in Europe but she has a better chance at 4:12 there than back in NY or Portland, after ANOTHER flight.

Did she have jet lag for the 9:23 3000 as well.
SLOW
lol - exactamon
Koko is an amazing runner. She just won the Jr Euro XC title in December, and just beat her own Euro U20 1500m indoor record. She's just finishing high school here and already works with a top german club. She's been with her club for quite a while and has given up modelling, and is turning 19 soon. Her size does seem worrying, but she appears to be well positioned (and hopefully in good health). Hopefully she'll continue.

I would ask about her 400/800 times now, but I'm afraid of the answer. Whatever she's been doing for the last two years, it seems to have utterly destroyed her speed.
