Heath has been on the cusp of being a world class athlete for a few years... He's run 3:34 for the 1500m and he was very close to bumping Rupp for the 5000 team last year. He likely would have placed top ten at world's if he was on the team.

Heath IS world class for xc, but not really for track yet. College runners run 3:34. Centro ran 3:36 as a sophomore I believe. Yeah, he may have nearly clipped Rupp in a 5K, AFTER Rupp raced the 10K and 5K prelim. But Rupp looked as flat as he ever has, which is not too surprising given the weight of the allegations last summer and his lack of racing going into it. Not things I would use to justify where Heath is on the track.

Well it makes sense Mo got beat at a muddy Xc race. For those of us that have been following him on social media we have seen him do pretty much all his training on a treadmill. Doesn't translate well to Xc. Still back him for the summer success though.
OK no you are right, Kenyans train on muddy XC courses akin to Scotland.

Multiple is almost never used for two. It can be, but we have the words two, a couple, and several for that purpose.

Heath should skip indoors and seek out every muddy XC race on the international scene. He's obviously better suited to the conditions relative to his competition on the track. I really think it has something to do with his running form, which is quite odd to me, and perhaps that he carries slightly more body mass than a typical distance runner.
