What is the perk of your profession?

No, I am 55 years old, and don't have time to train for anything, even if my arthritic knees allowed for it. I did run 1:50 and 3:48 back in the day, however.

I hope you got my sarcasm and shame you can't be home more, but as you said, it's part of the job.

I have no perks with my job. I sit in a cubicle, working for someone else who gets paid a ton of money and doesn't really know what he is doing. I get constantly interrupted, manage employees and am usually under-staffed.

Come to think of it, my life is the old Monster.com commercial. I want to work my way up to middle management. I want to be a "yes man". I want to be underpaid and over-worked.

I get an unlimited supply of bright orange garbage bags that I can fill up with my own trash. Then I put them on the side of the road next to an adopt a highway sign, and a highway crew comes and picks them up and takes them who knows where.

I get to bang my neighbor's wife while he's staying at the finest hotels.

I have 22 weeks a year vacation and I teach just two 90 minute classes a day to relatively cooperative university students in Japan.
